"Brave by Reflection" -- Leonardo Da Vinci

"I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather
strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection.
'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose
heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their
conduct, will pursue their principles unto death."

Leonardo Da Vinci

I chose this specific quotation because I strongly believe in the concept of morals until death. Personally, I feel that if I did not have morals to follow, my perception on situations would become blurred and obscure. When someone has a purpose or values to live by, it empowers them to go above and beyond just blending in with the rest of society. In reality, that strength is enough to get many people through the night, and also get them looking forward to the days ahead.

  1. What a powerful choice of inspiration, both the man and his words. It does, though, give one a lot to live up to, and I firmly believe that aiming too high leads more to success than disappointment.
